Choosing to homeschool your children can be a tough decision to make. It is a full-time job! Learning, planning, prepping, teaching, evaluating, reteaching, repeating, and encouraging are just some of the homeschooler's responsibilities. Managing our homes, folding loads of laundry, and preparing healthful meals still demand our time. Homeschooling moms need support and encouragement - and a whole lot of new, fresh ideas to keep going strong. I get it!

My Family Life
Through the years, as a credentialed teacher, I have taught many students and met many parents who do not enjoy writing. Most of the time, it is because writing content is not presented in a fun and structured format. Fun? Yes! Writing can be fun. Structured? Yes! Knowing precisely what to write, and how to write it, makes all the difference.
For the past several years, as a homeschool Educational Facilitator, I have been focusing on writing with students in grades 3rd - 8th. My goal is to inform, equip, and build confidence in these young writers. What I teach is intended to go far beyond a classroom setting. My ultimate objective is to develop a successful long-term writer who will reap the many benefits a good writer receives.
As a homeschool mom myself, I am always looking for new, simple, fun, and successful writing ideas or lessons. And, when I find that LOVE IT-GOT TO USE IT lesson, I experience even greater joy in sharing it with others.
As a mom of three boys, I understand that different children require different levels of instruction and support. My experience and suggestions just may help you and your child reach a new level of writing.
